At the weekend, Jay-Z made an unforgettable appearance at the Wireless Festival in London and pleased the crowd by performing several tracks from his latest album, this was his first live performance of Magna Carta Holy Grail! The Wireless Festival, which was relocated this year to The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, was definitely one to remember. With Jay-Z performing with the weather sizzling, the shizzle HOV was a godsend to this three-day urban Festival.
It was left to Shawn to entertain the crowd being the Headline for Day 2 and Day 3 he kicked it off with big old school tunes such as “It’s a Hard Knock Life”, “Encore”, “Run This Town” and “99 Problems”. He then moved on to GOOD music’s “Clique”, which set the crowd wild.
He even performed his feature on Mrs Carter’s “Crazy in Love” and “Bonnie & Clyde ‘03” then swiftly hit his new material, the MCHG “Tom Ford”, “Somewhere In America” and “Picasso Baby”. The crowd was singing along like his new material has been out for years! He is one powerful guy.
“I’m so excited” expresses the multi-millionaire. Capping off the show with a duet with Justin Timberlake, it perfected the show as they performed “Holy Grail” together. Mr Carter has a stage presence like no other and the crowd of 60,000 buzzing people completely engaged with his set, he had them chanting every single word!
He always keeps his look stylish and effective. H to the izz-O, V to to the izz-A keeps it cool with a short-sleeved white shirt and dark cargo trousers and hip hop's own fat gold chain. Seeing Jigga live on stage reminds you you're in the presence of greatness.
Encore, do you want more?
