Sub Focus Tears Shit Up!

Fabric hosted Sub Focus last weekend as he makes his return to club land.
Sub Focus is one of the biggest commercial success stories in drum & bass. Throughout his career he's smashed the mainstream charts with tracks like 'Tidal Wave' and 'Turn Back Time'.
Despite his success in the national charts, Sub Focus cut his teeth producing club trax and regularly playing up and down the country. Recently the London based producer is taking things back to this time with a series of records fixed for the floors.
Together with these new club tunes, Sub Focus has made a splash in London's clubbing diary with a string of dates including headline performances at Ram's NYE bash at the O2 Brixton Academy & UKF's takeover of Printworks.
Last weekend watched him add another prestigious date to his calendar as he took control of Fabric's main room for the latest Fabriclive event.
Once we got their Room 1 was being warmed up with a blend of rugged jump up beats and today's top drum & bass tunes. As the rough basslines battered the sound system the crowd were getting proper hyped, and ready for one of the scenes biggest names.
As Sub Focus stepped up to the decks the room erupted with cheers. He teared Fabric's main room apart with a big mix of some of his biggest tunes alongside today's biggest club records.
His masterful mixing and sick selection of tunes confirmed him as one of London's best headline DJs.
After his set it was over to room 2 where the legendary dBridge had already started his assault on the soundsystem. He delved deep into d&b's more experimental side, schooling the kids with the true sounds of the underground.
Twisted basslines and beastly breaks were expertly mixed by a true pioneer of jungle and drum & bass. Once dBridge was done he handed over to Remarc who went even harder with the jungle sound - pulling off a mad jungle set, to a dedicated crowd of junglists.
That for us closed the night, Fabriclive proved that it's still a beacon for the very best in drum & bass music for London.
