Jean Panther Gaultier?

As Paris Haute Couture fashion week is finished we have another delight with his amazing show mixture of fab clothing music and mise en place. Jean Paul Gaultier the father of avant-garde fashion surprised us with an amazing show where the most important factor was simply the roller coaster of music he was able to put us through.Starting with a an oldie but Goldie "pink panther" to open as an amazing model sweeps the runway with a pair of hammer looking pants and a perfectly cut leopard perfecto we have an amuse bouche of what follows.
The Fellini-esk theme as he said in various occasions, was perfectly planned as the music mounts among the show. Bringing the elegance of fellini's movies, "Cruela Devile", "Cat woman" and the "pink panther" among others where the names of the garments. He is able to play with his everlasting elegance, the movement of his silhouettes as all goes perfectly according with the beat of the music.
It lifts up the emotion of the ambiance as "All Tiny Creatures" gradually fades in from the pink panther theme song. We have this song for about a minute and a half where we get to see two beautiful pieces. As the show continues, John Carpenter shows us a very detail beat full of small sounds that creates absolute harmony with the whole theme of the collection. Towards the middle we start seeing more of the distinctive shape in the bustier and upper section of the garment that clearly stands out, l'infant terrible de la mode. He, in a very smart and with his elegance starts to play music such as "The Dolce Vita" and "Toby Dammit Theme Swing Organ" and this is just when the show hits the most interesting part. Crazy garments with animal heads and feathers bringing really the creators vision and inspiration.
Sadly the end of the show doesn't bring a great deal of emotion as the first half of it in relation to the music, other than that well its clear, the is the father and the everlasting enfant terrible of the haute couture.
