5 Celebrities That Would Make Controversial Politicians
Donald Trump is not a career politician, and yet he is a genuine contender to become the next President of The USA. If Trump has heralded in a new era where elections are popularity contests, who would be just as controversial as the man who has divided the world?
Katie Hopkins
Party: Conservative
Katie Hopkins is known for her outspoken views and was recently praised by Donald Trump, who called her a ‘respected columnist’. She famously gained three and a half stone of weight and then lost it again, in order to ‘prove’ that fat people are lazy and has numerously attacked Muslims with yer da’s favourite quip about Islam being the ‘religion of peace’.
In fact she’ll insult anyone, which wouldn’t go down too well if she were to become Prime Minister but a US run by Trump and a UK run by Katie Hopkins would bring a new meaning to ‘special’ relationship.

Kanye West
Party: Independent
The year is 2022 and ‘Through The Wire’ is now America’s national anthem, there’s a picture of Kanye West in every classroom and The Kardashian family are worshipped like Gods. Kanye becoming President is a possibility as he has announced he would want the position.
Whether it would be similar to the above scenario is in question, but we are in no doubt he would be a controversial politician.
Big Narstie
Party: CLEAR
The first law PM Big Narstie would change would be to legalise weed, he’s actually a patriotic guy so we find it hard that anyone would dislike any of his other policies. With his likeable manner Big Narstie would gain a lot of support from many different areas of society, he would also be seen as someone who can disrupt the status quo of Eton educated politicians.
Idris Elba
Party: Labour
When the idea of Idris Elba becoming the first black James Bond was suggested the internet went mad, some people were for it and a few more were against it. Imagine what would happen if Idris Elba was to become the first black Prime Minister? Maybe it would mean Katie Hopkins would finally move to an area of the world she can’t tweet from.
Charlie Sheen
Party: Republican
Carlos Estevez or Charlie Sheen as he is better known has previously stated his desire to run for president in 2016 and has admitted he would happily be Donald Trump’s running mate in 2016.
