Brighton Music Conference has released the full schedule covering the Professional and Academy programmes for the 2016 event, taking place on 14th and 15th April.
AIM’s Alison Wenham, plus top execs from Sony/ATV Publishing, AIM, PRS, Incentive, and !K7 plus the likes of Perc, Applebottom, Cooly G, Funkagenda, and Hyroglifics have been added to the panellist line-ups, and the key note talks with Mark Lawrence include “Save Our Clubs”, and “Get Played Get Paid; Building the New Music Industry”. Professional programme topics include “Gender Equality In Music”, “Stealing Our Own Success – Are DJ’s accidently killing sales” and “The Rise and Fall Of EDM?”, and on the Academy side, there will be talks on “Careers In Music”, “Your Brand Is Everything”, “Women In Music Q&A”, “The Commercial Conundrum” and “From The Bedroom To The Main Stage” and more. And as always, there'll be plenty of product demonstrations across the two days.
It's not jsut about the conference though - BMC pride themselves on great parties, and 2016 is no different. Take is hosting the Official BMC16 after party on April 14th at The Arch with Seth Troxler, a rare appearance on the South Coast for one of the world’s most formidable DJs. Wiggle and On The House are teaming up to present another official Brighton Music Conference party by the sea on April 15th. This year they’ll kick things off at 4pm on the outside terrace before taking things inside right through until 6am. The line-up features Nathan Coles, Terry Francis, Eddie Richards, PBR Streetgang and Rhythm Masters.
Tickets and the full programme schedule can be found on the BMC website. You can get tickets for the Seth Troxler after party here and tickets for the Wiggle & On The House party here.
