Casino Cheats Caught After Nine Day Hustle
3 men have been banned from casinos around the UK after they swindled over £33,000 over the course of nine days from Grosvenor Casino in Edgware Road, Paddington.
One of the men, Ozgur Aytekin was part of a gang who used a “card swapping” technique in order to fool dealers and get the upper hand.
The two men would look at each other’s hands and swap cards whilst the third acted as a distraction in order to divert the dealer’s attention.
In addition to this, they had two other accomplices who acted as lookouts.
The three have been sentenced to 12 months in jail, as well as 200 hours of unpaid work. Their two accomplices have yet to be sentenced.
