Need For Mirrors - 'Reset' EP

Smoothly making the transition to V Recordings after the sublime Philly Blunt release 'Merk', the duo present 'Reset' EP.
With a signature sound that draws on impressive clarity of sound whilst remaining forward thinking, this release out on June 17th is certainly a varied collection.
'Reset' featuring Edward Oberon is a silky roller with a stunning intro that hooks you in immediately; Oberon's vocals are a slice of sunshine against the incoming powerful bassline. 'Sea Slug' VIP is a murkier number, a prolonged lead into a twisted and surging undercurrent of drops.
'Sour Diesel' is probably the most dark and techy on the collection, but it remains soulful and atmsopheric. 'Debris' rounds off proceedings with a raw sound; the drum patterns on the intro are a unique touch.
Need for Mirrors are an exciting presence, and this well-crafted EP is another great release from V.
