Palace and The Trilogy Tapes land Omar Souleyman

Other | Monday 2nd November 2015 | Jacob

After last year's collaboration with Theo Parrish, Palace and The Trilogy Tapes have announced Syrian singer Omar Souleyman for their next release on new label TTTPALACE. This evening's twitter tease follows the labels first release, another EP from Mix Mup and Kassem Mosse, that will get a release later this month.

After gaining a strong following after appearing at Glastonbury in 2011, remixing Bjork and recording with Four Tet, the former wedding singer will release material for the first time since his July 2015 album Bahdeni Nami, on Modeselektor's Monkeytown records.

Palace have also announced they have got clandestine and dustied up breaks/techno artists Rezzett on the remix, meaning the release should provide for some serious leftfield goodness. The release date should be dropping imminently. Watch this space.
