‘Want You In My Soul’ from Lovebirds feat. Stee Downes has now been remixed by new boy on the block Après.
Après made his mark this year with a homage to Frankie Knuckles and Larry Heard entitled ‘Chicago’, an inspired mash up of the cornerstones of house music, ‘Your Love’ and Can You Feel It’. The track recorded while at university in Cornwall set up a great year for Après with remixes for David Zowie, Roger Sanchez, Eli & Fur and a Lights On Mix for Monki on BBC Radio 1Xtra. He also scored festival gigs at Boardmasters, We Are FSTVL and Sundown as well as Warehouse Project, and Annie Mac presents AMP at Dalt Vila, Ibiza.
‘Want You In My Soul’ has had widespread support across the house spectrum including Annie Mac, Solomun, Pete Tong, Fatboy Slim, Skream, Gilles Peterson and many more. Lovebirds aka German producer, Sebastian Doering (Basti), has a discography that includes labels such as Winding Road Records, Freerange, Buzzin Fly, OM records, Liebe*Detail and many more. As Lovebirds, he’s been behind further anthems including ‘This Time’, ‘Holdin’ On’, and ‘Mandrill’ and DJ’s across the UK and Europe has spun regularly at the hottest new night in Ibiza, Glitterbox at Space.
