Food & Drink:

Afghan Wrap / Ali Baba’s Juice Bar Peckham

If you’re about South this weekend,  definitely swing by Afghan Wrap, located directly opposite the exit of Peckham Rye station. After you yam down a perfectly seasoned chicken, lamb or falafel wrap for only £3. Afterwards, head next door to Ali Baba’s juice bar to wash that down with some serious flavour offered up in the beetroot, apple and wasabi special.

Art:

Affordable Art Fair Final Weekend

With over 100 galleries and 1,000 artists, the Battersea Affordable Art Fair draws to a close this weekend. Most definitely worth checking out for both its variety and price, whether you’re browsing or buying.

Music:

Phonica Records at Number 90 Oct 24 at 10:00pm to Oct 25 at 4:00am
Soul Control Bunker Deptford Oct 23 at 10:00pm to Oct 24 at 3:00am

One of London’s finest record shops, Phonica, are taking over Number 90 in Hackney Wick. It’s free all night until 4AM, fusing House, Techno and everything in between. For £2 entry and £2.50 doubles, Soul Control resident Kafka plays at the intimate Bunker Club in Deptford with five hours' worth of tunes that will have you mumbling, 'fuck, what was that record he just played?’, either due to his eclectic selection or the unbelievably cheap doubles.

Film:

The Program (15) @ TheBarbican , Spectre (15)

You may have noticed that the new Bond movie is out this weekend. Well you can watch it pretty much anywhere, with the most cost-effective option being the Peckhamplex for a fiver. If that’s not your scene, check out The Program at the Barbican for cheap, which tells the true story behind Lance Armstrong conning his way to the top of the cycling world.

Fashion:

The Old Dalston Market

The Old Dalston Market is Hackney's largest indoor vintage market, and is a paradise for bargain hunters all over London. DJ’s play throughout the weekend, and there’s a massive food hall if you work up an appetite whilst raiding through the huge haul of clothes, records, and other quintessentially vintage stuff.

Festival :

Bloomsbury Festival

It’d be rude not to join our friends Riotbar at Bloomsbury festival this weekend for a cocktail or four (they might give you one if you ask nicely and quote us) whilst soaking in all the arts, music, science, and culture available this weekend in ‘one of central London's most vibrant quarters’, all for free!
