Last month we reported on architect James Furzer and his attempt to help London’s homeless.
For his ‘Homes for the Homeless’ project, Furzer designed plywood and steel pods to hang on the side of host buildings, providing shelter for the capital’s homeless population. He’s now launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise the £7000 needed to fund the construction of a prototype model.
The pods will be made with variable materials, which keeps the cost of the pods down and allows the pods to blend in with the host buildings. News of the project was well received but Furzer still has a long way to go to reach his target goal, so donate if you can. £10 donations will receive a limited edition blueprint postcard and £20 donations receive a limited edition A4 print.
