Reading & Leeds, ready to roll

Mumford & Sons, Metallica and The Libertines headline the three-day extravaganza.
As well as those huge headliners, there’s a strong indie/rock contingent on the line-up, just as you would expect from R&L. Alt-J, Palma Violets, Drenge, Royal blood, Jamie T, The Maccabees, The Cribs, Swim Deep, Twin Atlantic, Wolf Alice, Slaves, New Found Glory, Django, Django, and Frank Turner are just a small selection of the mega artists scheduled to play.
R&L’s representation of other genres has been expanding year on year, and in 2015 the bill is probably the most diverse they’ve ever had – Kendrick Lamar will play the main stage, and Rebel Sound, Deadmau5 and Jamie xx will all perform on the NME/BBC Radio 1 Stage.
There’s also massive line-ups for the BBC Radio 1 Dance Stage and BBC 1Xtra Stage, with the likes of Wilkinson, MK, Kevin Saunderson, BBK, Brodinski, Maribou State, Krept & Konan, A$AP Ferg, Rae Sremmurd, Azealia Banks, Young Thug, Lethal Bizzle and Ms Dynamite all appearing.
The August Bank Holiday weekend is always a busy one in festival land but R&L have curated a programme to rival any out there.
Head to the Reading & Leeds sites for the full line-up info.
