Richie Hawtin gets ready for ENTER. with a 4-disc special

Richie Hawtin’s highly conceptualised ENTER. returns to Space Ibiza for a fourth season, with the opening party taking place tonight. Celebrated for bringing together Hawtin’s unbridled passion for futuristic music, technological advancements and Japanese Sake, every single aspect of ENTER. is meticulously planned and expertly executed to create a completely unique club experience. To mark the occasion, Richie has curated ENTER.IBIZA 2015, a new special-edition four disc collection of music that aims to take listeners on a journey through the unique musical atmospheres encountered in each room at ENTER. from the beginning to the end of the night.
Starting at ENTER.Sake, the Japanese-inspired room that opens ENTER. every week, where resident and cult favourite Hito (from Tokyo) subtly builds momentum, deftly mixing tracks from Dubfire, Julian Jeweil, Marc Houle and Premiesku alongside cuts from Japan’s Kikiorix, Satoshi Otsuki and Kazuya Nagaya.
House sounds proliferate on CD2 as Heidi takes control of ENTER.Terrace, ahead of her set there this summer (10 September). The Jackathon queen does a fine job of mixing up classic cuts old and new, reaching for timeless Detroit sounds from Daniel Bell, sublime German electronica from Roman Flügel and rugged rhythms from the masterful Radio Slave, amongst others.
Sounds from the techno vanguard get mixed up by regular ENTER. guest Dubfire on ENTER.Main. A suitably expansive and forward-looking mix that reflects the pulsating intensity of ENTER.'s main room, thanks to heavy-duty weaponry from The Junkies, stripped bare rollers from Gaiser, the dark, paranoid funk of Shaded and other gems from Emika, Barem and Carlo Lio.
Finally, new resident TM404 rounds out the experience with ENTER.Mind. A room celebrated for its cerebral, warm and hypnotic sounds, TM404 takes the reins here, showcasing the tightness of his mixing along with slick selections. Slam, Joey Beltram and Plastikman (who performs an exclusive set at ENTER.Mind on 3 September) all add to the mix, bringing the ENTER.IBIZA 2015 experience to an exhilarating close.
