Wednesday 29th April 2015 | Arren
London’s Tobacco Dock will play host to the mother of all acid house warehouse parties with top talent from across the world taking to the decks. Seth Troxler has handpicked the line-up and filled it will people he believes "embody the true spirit of acid house in 2015". Together they will take us on a trip across acid house’s vibrant past, present and a peek at the future.
Acid house was a hugely popular genre in the UK, and although not its birthplace, the UK can be seen as its spiritual home as we took it into our hearts and minds. The scene exploded in the late 80s early 90s as parties swept across the nation, a musical movement quickly became a lifestyle. The acid house revolution made us party so hard that the national press began branding ravers as crazed druggies and the government quickly passed laws to stamp out the parties happening across the nation.
It’s this history that Seth Troxler is paying homage to. Now it's 2015 and Seth wants us to take a trip across the vast musical spectrum that is acid house into Acid Future. Tickets go on sale tomorrow and are available here from 10am, check the full line up below.
