Keep it jazzy this May Bank Holiday with DJ Jazzy Jeff at The Jazz Cafe
RnB/Hip Hop | Tuesday 14th April 2015 | Christina
DJ Jazzy Jeff, aka “the world’s greatest DJ”, is back in London on May 3rd to mark The Jazz Cafe’s 25th anniversary, and to celebrate ten years of The Doctor’s Orders. Residents Spin Doctor & Mr Thing will be on hand to get the party started.
Jazzy Jeff was only 10 years old when he first started DJing block parties, and since then he has rocked clubs and festivals across the globe, firmly establishing himself as the best DJ on the planet. Winning the first ever Rap Grammy Award and achieving several gold and platinum selling records, Jazzy Jeff has also produced records from everyone from Slum Village and The Roots to Mac Millar and Bart Simpson, always sprinkling them with his “Touch of Jazz”.
His sets are all killer, no filler – his mixes from The Do-Over in LA are constantly on repeat in our office, and we were lucky enough to see him spin at ADE last year, so you can believe us when we say, no one gets a party going quite like Jazzy Jeff. Doctor’s Orders residents Spin Doctor & Mr Thing will also be on hand to keep the vibes going all night long.
This is a rare opportunity to see the hip-hop legend in such an intimate setting, and the perfect way to enjoy the Bank Holiday. Head to The Jazz Cafe website for more info.
