Police raid the club of "f**k it, I quit" girl
Even if you don’t recognise her name, you know this woman – she went viral when she quit her reporting job live on air back in September, saying “Fuck it, I quit” and announcing she was devoting her time to the legalisation of recreational marijuana in Alaska.
Last Friday Anchorage police raided the club after receiving reports of illegal marijuana sales – recreational use of marijuana is permitted in Alaska, but it is still illegal to sell it. Greene claims that the Alaska Cannabis Club don't sell weed, rather it is a medical-marijuana dispensary and place for members to share their own weed.
She said that she saw the police “uproot a couple of marijuana plants. They took some bongs and pipes and phones and computers, and that's pretty much it,” and she re-opened the following day.
No arrests have been made in connection with the raid, so the good people of Anchorage can get back to getting high.
