Camp Bestival goes wild on the dancefoor

Camp Bestival continue their unerring dedication to dance by sorting out tons of disco action, amazing parties, mega soundsytems and DJ legends, so all you lovely lot can get your hustle on and make the CB weekend even wilder than ever! The epic Bollywood Tent is yet again grand rave central, with a mesmerising tribe of DJs, but expect hidden discos and dens of iniquity aplenty across Lulworth Castle this July 30th – August 2nd.
Chief Wild Thing Rob Da Bank says: "Camp Bestival just isn't Camp B without a big old disco going on day and night, and I'm as happy as Mr Tumble’s bowtie to unveil the DJ line-up for 2015. Crowned with the double whammy MBE occurrence of Mr David Rodigan and his Ram Jam experience, along with Norman Jay, bringing his Good Times carnival flavour to Camp Besti for the first time, we are truly honoured! Add in legends Terry Hall from The Specials, an old-time mate of Camp Bestival’s, and DJ Yoda, and all the rest of the gang and it’s gonna be knees up mother brown from dawn to dusk! Bosh…”
David Rodigan MBE presents Ram Jam returns to Bollywood, alongside a very special extra appearance from DJ Yoda, and skank-tatsic sets from Prince Fatty, Artwork & Venum Sound and the man himself. There’ll also be Bollywood-based family fun and joy-inducing beats courtesy of Norman Jay MBE presents Good Times, plus late night action with eclectic treats from The Specials’ frontman Terry Hall, and dancefloor spanking bass from Music Mondays & World of Rave with sets from Billy Daniel Bunter, Slipmatt, Rat Pack, Ragga Twins, Uncle Dugs, Jerome Hill, and DJ Faydz.
Epic sets from Camp Bestival’s wildest man Rob da Bank, house music don Ralph Lawson, world music connoisseur Andy Kershaw, and 78 specialists The Shellac Collective will keep Bollywood bouncing all weekend long. If that wasn’t enough, Big Swing Soundsystem, Balearic Brothers, DJ Dapper Dan, and the Mix It UP DJ Kru will drop in to keep the party vibes going.
Bollywood won’t be the only place to cut some rug during the weekend though, you’ll be able to go wild on a sound safari across the site with off the wall behaviour at Caravanserai with Chris Tofu & friends, channel hopping, sing-along-a-madness at the Silent Discos with the Sunday Best Allstars, enjoy naughty After Hours Party Tunes at the Blue Coats Clubhouse and boogie on down to the Showmany Calliope’s Daily Discos!
