OUTLOOK FESTIVAL!!!

Monday 10th June 2013 | Camille

Outlook Festival takes place on 29th August to 2nd September this year and we suggest you head off to Fort Punta Christo Pula in Croatia for a perfect way to finish your summer.

Their Website describes Outlook as “Europe’s largest bass music and sound system culture” and it certainly is a festival that everyone wants to or is planning to go to. Outlook has an amazing line-up and it’s definition of Bass music encompasses house, techno, dubstep, reggae, dub, hiphop, garage, grime, electronica… etc. With Artful Dodger, Barely Legal, Bonobo doing a DJ set, LTJ Bukem, Goldie and Mr Scruff and many, many more I guarantee everyone here will have an incredible few days.

The line-up isn’t the only amazing thing about Outlook either, which has amazing arenas situated all around the venue. Whether you want to watch the biggest acts live at the Harbour Arena - right next to the bay of Pula, or you want to get down and dirty at one of the raves in The Dungeon - a long dark tunnel that curves round on itself, there’ll be something for you. And when you’re not watching the acts you can just chill at the beach, you’ll definitely have the weather for it with temperatures in August reaching 35oC for the air and 28oC for the sea!

If you’re planning on going then you better start saving now, because along with tickets you’ll also have to pay for travel and accommodation. Tickets are £135 and you also have the opportunity to buy joint tickets for Outlook and Dimensions Festival, which is held in the same place a week later. You can camp at the festival (and we recommend you do, it’s so much more fun) but they charge you for that separately, although it’s not too bad at £9.00 a night. Other accommodation is available, right up to a private villa. As regards getting there, the festival offers transfers to and from the airport for about £8.00, but if you’re travelling from the UK there is also the option of the Sunshine Bus, an Eco-friendly coach powered by Planet Festival this bus takes you right to the heart of the festival leaving on the 27th August. While being on a coach for over 24 hours might sound like your idea of Hell it would also be a really good way to meet people and make some friends before you get to the festival, places book up fast and tickets cost £185 so it will probably be cheaper than flying.

So for the perfect summer combination of holiday and festival get yourselves to Outlook this year.
