Any NFL takers amongst us? Although an all American sport, its growth in support amongst European countries has upsurged rapidly in the last few years particularly during the deeply anticipated Super Bowl which lands each year. The Super Bowl games have been accounted as the most watched programmes in American History first started during 1970. Not only offered gripping games but it has now become a major platform for all mainstream performers of our age. Take a look at Beyonce’s exhilarating performance this year, which broke headlines the next day. There is no hiding the undying support from huge names such as Snoop Dogg, George Clooney, Jamie fox, Eminem, Denzel Washington and Will Smith. The NFL first formed during 1920’s with the highest attendance of any other professional sports league in the world.
London is lucky enough to host two games this year, the first on Sunday 29th September where the Minnesota Vikings will host the Pittsburgh Steelers. Then on Sunday 27th October the Jacksonville Jaguars will play the first of four games in London between 2013 and 2016, when they take on the San Francisco 49ers. For anyone unaware, The Pittsburgh Steelers have the most Super bowl wins, followed by the San Fran 49ers so Londoners have been offered only the best of the NFL experience. It’s a rare occasion for such an internationally popular event, tickets are on sale now so get buying them sports fans!
