100 Students Kicked Off Flight for Disobeying Flight Crew

When you’re on a flight, the general consensus is that your life pretty much depends on the pilot so you listen to everything they say. Apparently, the students from the Yeshiva of Flatbush didn’t get the memo, as 100 of them were kicked off a flight after failing to obey the flight crew’s orders to sit down and turn off their mobiles.
The high school seniors, who were travelling to Atlanta for a three-day trip, ignored multiple requests from flight attendants to take their seats and turn off all electronics. Eventually the captain had to take over the PA system to relay the same message, but to no avail. Hence, all the students, plus 8 chaperones, had to be removed from the plane for safety reasons. The flight was delayed for nearly an hour as a result of the entire fiasco.
It should be noted that federal law states that passengers are required to comply with crewmember instructions, meaning the students could’ve (and probably should’ve) been thrown into jail for causing the ruckus. Instead, the students made it to Atlanta after 12 hours and several connecting flights.
Oh well, guess spoiled brats always get what they want in the end.
