Iggy Azalea Signs With Def Jam

Iggy Azalea makes a surprising move and announces she's signed with Def Jam.
Iggy Azalea has announced via twitter that she has signed to Island/Def Jam. The signing comes as a bit of a surprise, due to her close affiliation with T.I.'s Grand Hustle. Iggy clarified that depite the signing, she is still a member of the Grand Hustle team, and will still appear on their upcoming compilation.
Azalea will keep her contract with Mercury in the UK, as the Def Jam deal will cover her US distribution only. According to Iggy, an official press release from Billboard will confirm the signing later today.
