Logic Signs to Def Jam Records

Tuesday 16th April 2013 | Williams

The rise to success is seldom portrayed more accurately than by Logic’s catch phrase “I used to buss tables, now I bust rhymes.” The young hip-hop artist, also known as Young Sinatra, has gone from bussing tables at Joe’s Crab Shack to signing with Def Jam Records. After leaping across the gap to recognition and being featured on the cover of XXL’s freshman cover issue, Logic will now work with notorious Chicago producer No ID. Logic, who stays true to his roots, spits fire out of Gaithersburg, Maryland. With his top song “All I do” gathering more than four million views, his gargantuan fan base in only expected to increase.

"I'm excited to take this next step in my career,” Logic told the public. “It's incredible for Def Jam [Records] and Visionary Music Group to work together and the opportunity to collaborate with a living legend like No I.D. is priceless. I'm very humbled to be apart of the most iconic hip hop label of all time."

The twenty-two year old rapper is preparing to drop his fourth and impending mix tape “Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever.” VMG artists will be featured on the tape.

As Logic prepares to embark on the VMG Welcome to Forever Tour, he leaves us with three mix tapes full of masterful lyrics to think about. In his song “Spotlight,” Logic raps “No, I am not materialistic. I was broke my whole life, and no I don’t miss it.” Welcome to fame, Young Sinatra. This is one young cat to keep your eyes and ears peeled for.
