Pure Intec Launch Party @ XOYO with Carl Cox.
Friday 12th April 2013 | Osh
Last night saw Carl Cox invite a select amount down to XOYO for the Pure Intec Launch Party. Filled to the brim with heavy bass heads and pupils the size of China, this night was all about the classics. Opening the night Jon Rundell knew the score, warming everyone up to undoubtedly; the best house DJ of all time. Jon kept to what he knew, playing the repetative 128BPM bass beats until it picked up. The crowd was sparse until midnight, everyone was trying to sneak into VIP, and get some free drinks.
It comes to one in the morning, everyone is eating eachother, the serotonin is flowing, as is the sweat on my face. Carl Cox jumps on the decks, everything kicks off!
Playing like it's sunset in Ibiza, Carl lets the crowd do all the work. He knows whatever he plays they'll be into it.
His skills behind the decks are unbeatable, the sound crew made the stage feel like a full body massage and Carl digged every second, waving his hands around like he's on fire, dropping banger after banger, no one knows how to play an intimate set like this guy.
The walls start to melt, purely for the reason that too many people are kettling into XOYO's tiny dancefloor. Water is sparse and people are starting to break down, I saw three people fall to the floor and squeeze their head; Was this because of the incredible sounds cumming in their ears, or the fact that their last line was about 3 hours ago?
Either way, Pure Intec picked the best for the ones and twos. The night was a huge success and really shows you huge djs like Carl Cox, perform every single show like it's their last.
Pictures to come.
