Label of April
This month’s label to look out for is Catch, based in London owners Rob Chadwick, Brett Sinclair and Johnny Cade have over 10 years of experience in the illustrious field of electronic music. From producing to label ownership the group have experienced the plethora of options the industry has provided.
Rob is also the owner of Breakoutaudio with Darius Syrossian, whilst Johnny has been stamping releases on the likes of infamous British imprints 2020 Vision and Leftroom alongside taking the stage at various festivals throughout Europe. Brett has since been progressing his sound from House through to Techno with releases last year on Made Fresh Daily and Intuitio Records amongst sets throughout the country, Ibiza and most recently across the water, with a recent move to Australia to work on the international side of Catch.
Catch was created after a hectic week at Barcelona’s Sonar festival last summer. Serious inspiration comes from those beloved German imprints of the nineties and early naughties married with the respect and dignified approach thats widespread in the UK market.
Catch have decided it’s time for the first EP, three tracks which hold an outlook on the current climate with house and techno and splashes of structure within the releases opt for a strong outlook of what is to come in the future.
