8 years later and Kanye West is still having Gold Digger issues

There’s no arguing with the fact that 8 years ago we all loved the Kanye West track Gold digger ft Jamie Foxx. We downloaded it, we sang along to, it made it to number one and since then the Grammy award winner Kanye has released several other bangers so it’s fair to say we’re all totally over the whole Gold digger hype right? Well no apparently not. The offspring of David Pryor; Lorenzo Pryor and Trena Steward have decided to sue Mr West for daring to use an unlicensed sample of their dad’s song in the Gold Digger chorus.
David Pryor was a member of the group called Thunder & lightening and he wrote and sang “Bumpin’ Bus stop” which was released in 1974. His offspring, Trena and Lorenzo who own a quarter of the song, claim that Kanye west has illegally used a 13 second sample from the song as you can hear their dad saying “Get down girl, go head get down” during the chorus (sounds like Jamie Foxx to me but hey) The children have therefore decided that they want the song to stop being sold and on top of that they have requested for millions of bucks. It’s clear to see that they know they ain’t messin with no broke nigga so they want a bit of his fortune.
After this I don’t think Kanye will ever tell a girl to get down again!
Listen to the two tracks below and see if you can hear what all the fuss is about.
