Swollen Members, the renowned hip hop duo from Vancouver, Canada is releasing their tenth album on March 19th!
The four time Juno Award winning hip hop group was founded in 1992 and consists mainly of the duo Mad Child, Prevail, and producer Rob the Viking (2002-present.) Their style uses a wide range of elements usually using dark and sinister imagery to paint truthful and memorable stories. The trio regrouped to form their new album.
Their album is titled Beautiful Death Machine and contains 12 songs. It features a wide range of artists including appearances from notorious underground artists Ill Bill, Vinnie Paz, Esoteric, Celph Titles, and Apathy. The group has promised that this album will bring with a new energy with brand new beats and there's no doubt they will! The group has been notorious for its sickening beats and dark lyricism and if there is any indication from their last album, the critically aclaimed Dagger Mouth, they can only get better.
When asked about their new album, MC Prevail was quoted as saying "When we created Dagger Mouth we tapped back into the same creative energy that helped us create some of the classic albums in our discography," to which he continues "Now that same creative energy is overflowing into Beautiful Death Machine has allowed us to raise the bar yet again."
With all this hype surrounding Beautiful Death Machine, we at Guestlist can't wait for it's release!
