In the early 1990s Madonna began her Blonde Ambition World Tour stepping on the stage wearing an outfit that she is still infamous for today.
THE conical bra (A bra which makes your boobs look bigger and pointier) worn by Madonna during her Blonde Ambition world tour in 1990 will be on show during an exhibition showing the work of world famous fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier.
The exhibitions international tour will begin in Barbican, London in April 2014 and will be dedicated to the French designer’s finest work and will feature over 140 garments the fashionista has designed over his long and successful career.
Goultier has a string of superstars who have worn his amazing designs other than Madonna, who has worked with Jean Paul Goultier for over thirty years. Designs for Kylie Minogue, Dita Von Teese and Bjork will be on show at the long awaited exhibition.
In November 2012, a conical bra was sold in a Christie’s auction for double the estimated price for a whopping £30,000!
The designer discussed his love for the UK during a recent interview regarding his exhibition “The English were the first ones to come to my shows and appreciate my fashion; I am super excited that the show is coming to London. If there is one place other than Paris that I should like to live in, it is London."
This exhibition varies from fashion designs to catwalk presentations, music videos, dance performances and films.
The Barbican described the upcoming exhibition as "an installation rather than a conventional fashion retrospective".
