Straight out of California rap

Looking for a brand new hip hop artist that no one has heard about? Arian and Dashaman are a duo hip hop group straight out of California. They have one music video so far with a peak of almost 5,000 views. Their debut album and LP titled The Suburbia was released in April 2012. It is a free digital album download. Arian is the MC and Dashaman is the DJ.
Their most notable piece is titled 'Party Foul' and features both artists traveling around as Arian spits lyrics that just fly by with slickness. In it, Dashaman samples Wendy Rene's 'I wish I were that girl' with a sick guitar loop and a dope beat. As Arian raps over the instrumental, he makes sure to keep it real with his subtle thoughtful lines "Chilling inside the ghettos of Los Altos Hills, Out of thrills, So I guess we try to create em, The product of living without a single ultimatum, Video Games we play them, Ready for change and freedom."
On top of this sick song comes a great video that measures well with the music and helps the song radiate with upbeat optimism as Arian and Dashaman just live life with youthful energy.
The refreshing video was produced by Kyle Laffey, Robbie Hinson, and Sean Hinson.
Another notable song from their LP is Deer Hollow. Unlike 'Party Foul', Deep Hollow picks up on a soft hawaiian-like tune. Rather than being upbeat and rebellious, it opts to be tame, maintaining a chilled persona that rolls over in melodic rhyme. However, it also holds on to that playful element similar to that of 'Party Foul' by dropping some humorous but "real" lines. "I go from sitting in a desk, to sitting and wishing I wasn't living in a desk, I'm a number two pencil yellow ticonderoga." "It's a tame tame world we're living in, white fences, green hedges, brown benches, clean hedges, It's a tame tame world we're living in."
Arian and Dashaman show potential for the future with a friendly rapping style that relates to the adolescent age of this generation. They also are young and show promise to the future if they keep it up.
