Pure EP - Rameses B

Do you like relaxing music? Music you can listen to with all the lights off and cool down to; music that reinvigorates you and expels all that bad energy in your soul? Anyone of Rameses B has the potential to hit that soft spot right next to your heart.
Rameses B is an artist based in Leeds, UK who represents the subcategory of dubstep labeled chill step. Chill step is a mix of electronic trance with ambient melodic drum & bass which in simpler terms is a soft dub step. Chill step is like the underground branch of hip hop. It aims to let you kick back and think about life, your problems, and for some people it helps them shut down.
Rameses B brand new Pure EP was released yesterday. The EP costs £3 and contains 4 songs including 'Meaning of life', 'Safe Haven', 'Pure', and 'Sanctified'.
Meaning of life' is a exciting adventurous tune that leads into an upbeat cluster of euphoria. It's an uplifting song that makes you forget your problems as if proclaiming in some way "Life is simple! This is the answer!" And just like that, it does! The whole song is a journey in itself; from time to time fading the music out to have a male voice guide your mind through a trail musicality.
'Safe Haven' compliments the Pure EP's first song with another upbeat song this time with an overly joyous tune. 'Safe Haven' is a song you can see in friendship reels. It's crazy energy bounces off your stereos and flies through your ears into your body giving a yearning for dance.
The next song 'Pure' is a stark contrast to Safe Haven as if telling you to calm down from your bouncing high. It's a song of thoughtful rhythms and deep contemplation. It's a chill song that just makes you feel cool, calm, and composed.
'Sanctified' finishes up the EP superbly with tension and a heroic tune left on a cliffhanging note. It's a quiet, lonely song that builds on your thoughts. It brings you into dangerous grounds; an empty sky that will tell you if your ready to fly or fall.
All in all, I highly suggest you listen to this EP as it is definitely not a waste of time. In total, the EP is about 17 minutes long. Some could wish it was longer but perhaps that was the whole point of Rameses B's 'Meaning of Life.'
