Chanel, Valentino or Marchesa? No... H&M!
The nominee for Best Supporting Actress Helen Hunt has pleasantly surprised everyone last night on the red carpet of the Oscars in a very low-cost gown in which she was equally fabulous.
The strapless navy-blue gown with the train apparently costs only $80 and is from the Conscious Collection of the Swedish brand in partnership with the environmental organization Global Green, for which the actress is a spokesperson. The Conscious Collection was born from recycled clothes, fabrics, buttons and zips and when the actress appeared on the red carpet and told Ryan Seacrest of the E! Network the history of that dress, the world of Twitter has responded positively applauding the choice of Helen Hunt. She chose it "because it was the most beautiful dress I tried on and they partner with Global Green," she said. "It was a win-win-win."
"H&M for Helen Hunt: certainly the most affordable gown on the red carpet #oscars proves that you DONT have to spend a lot to look AMAZING!" tweeted Oprah's O magazine.
The actress ,nominated for her performance in The Session, could not avoid but to embellish the dress with jewellery by Martin Katz for a value of $700,00! But we know that for the night of the Academy Awards jewels are provided, therefore, we applaud the green but glamorous choice of Helen Hunt!
