Bremond - Great Track

You know when you a hear a track that just grabs your attention? Well allow me to share a recent discovery……......
Called 'Le Shampoo' I llloooved it, funky & unique - it is impossible not to get your groove on.
Sooooo I made it my mission to find out who was behind this and what else they had to offer. Step forward a Frenchman living in London, going under the name of Bremond. In true stalker style, I tracked him down and found out a bit more.
Formerly a member of MiAOW, Bremond started his solo work in 2011, releasing his first EP Pedestrian in 2012.
The five track EP, written and produced by Bremond with Monsieur Mullen on sax, is a mix of jazz & electro; giving a late night, underground vibe. If you prefer a more technical description Bremond describes it as Electrojazzpop.
Should you find your self in a pub quiz - here is a random fact: amongst the 300 000 French people who live in London, it is the only record produced by a French Londoner on the Rough Trade shop. So there you go - remember that, it could be the clincher!
The EP has mixed tempos and vibes but is a really fresh sound and well worth a listen.
