Cruz Sisters for Agent Provocateur

Spanish actress Penelope Cruz is currently designing a new collection for the cult high-end lingerie brand Agent Provocateur, with the help of little sister Mónica.
The collection is to be called L’Agent, and will act as a diffusion line to Agent Provocateur. The sisters have teamed up with the luxurious British brand to create fifteen different styles. Each line will feature a selection of exquisite pieces from knickers to suspenders to corsets. Good news for those of us whose budget doesn’t quite stretch to Agent Provocateur prices, as the price tags on the L’Agent collection are to be on average half that of the main line. Hurrah!
Mónica Cruz is also the star of Agent Provocateur’s Autumn Winter campaign Wilhelmina: Show Your True Self, set in Victorian London. The younger Cruz does not hold back and certainly steals the limelight in her playful, steamy role as an enigmatic woman revealing her inner sexuality.
Penelope and Mónica have previously worked together to design a collection for Mango to fantastic success. "It is so exciting for me and Mónica to embark on this new adventure," Penélope told WWD, "we have always been huge fans of Agent Provocateur and both of us are very much looking forward to this long-term collaboration.”
Agent Provocateur’s Mayfair flagship store will open just in time for Christmas, and if the chain’s 2011 Christmas figures are anything to go by, trade will be roaring. So, gentlemen, if you are planning on treating the lady in your life to some lingerie this festive season, take a leaf out of Mr Beckham’s book and head down to this brand spanking new store come present buying time!
The Cruz’s L’Agent collection will go on sale in August 2013.
