A new Megabox -online music service

Kim Dotcom, founder of the Megaupload has released two videos which assure that soon there will be a new website for music makers and music lovers called Megabox.

 

 

Kim Dotcom has been giving hints from several weeks about his upcoming online music service on twitter. He released two video on Megabox yesterday.

The above video is about the making of mega upload, its working and testing the Megabox cloud music service. This video reveals that it is aimed at both music fans and artists. It depicts that it also have a few social aspects, sharing and chatting facilities. Users have access to popularity and ranking statistics on a dashboard.

The video hints that there will be some big name artists on the site when it is launched, various shots in the video show albums and playlists by Radiohead, Coldplay, Muse, Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters, David Bowie, Blur, and Rihanna. The new service will even have exclusive artists, shown in the video preview there are already four names displayed in this section; “The Black Keys,” “Rusko,” “Two Fingers” and “Will.i.am”.

The video below is rather vague named as promotional video. Dotcom has neither confirmed nor has denied this information. On last Friday dotcom tweet, “Quick update on the new Mega: Code 90% done. Servers on the way. Lawyers, Partners & Investors ready. Be patient. It's coming.”

 How long it will take? Nobody knows yet but we will keep you updated.
