Carly Rae Jepsen releases new album

Carly Rae Jepsen's name has been graffitied all over this summer - 'Call Me Maybe' hit the scene in the US in February, and has since swept the globe as the pop hit of the year.
But today, fans can finally hear what else Carly has stashed away as she releases her anticipated US debut album, Kiss. Named on the spur of the moment, Jepsen revealed to MTV News that it is an album about "love, flirtation and the beginning of things".
There are no guest rappers, no sidenote journeys into dubstep or alternative; this album is purely for those who find Lady Gaga too out-there and Rihanna too edgy.
