Lady Gaga at Philip Treacy's London Fashion Week Showcase
Lady Gaga reportedly stole the show at hat designer Philip Treacy's London Fashion Week showcase. The bizarre pop singer sensation appeared on stage at London's Royal Courts of Justice on Sunday night, wearing a bright pink cape that completely covered her eyes and a pair of white boots that boosted her several inches up, to declare the night’s official beginning.
But Gaga made sure the attention stayed on her throughout the showcase, by donning a ring of flowers around her head, leaving only a small portion of her face showing through. The floral headpiece was a multi coloured creation that made sure we all know that Gaga is still being Gaga.
Gaga sat next to Treacy himself, chatting throughout the show. She sported a jade green prom-style dress and matched it with a giant over the top blue star-shaped ring by Swarovski. She was also joined by burlesque performer Dita Von Teese and Sex and the City actress Kim Cattrall. The singer has expressed interest at becoming an intern in Treacys design studio.
The fashion show featured several eccentric outfits - as was expected - which included a giant silver sailing ship hat and gold futuristic designs. There was also a heavy influence from the late Michael Jackson, with models wearing iconic outfits, such as the famous red leather jacket from the music video ‘Thriller’.
Just to top off the whole evening, Gaga chose to add a touch of Disney to her outfit with a large pair of Mickey Mouse ears. Just to show that she was in tune for the show, she also wore the famous Michael Jackson white glove.
