Voi Jeans introduces the virtual "Denim Wall"
Thursday 13th September 2012 | Osh
The successful brand Voi Jeans Co. has just launched its Autumn/Winter 2012 collection online. The brand, which began in Preston in 1988 focusing on the love of jeans, has now expanded to include a range of clothing for both men and women.
The new collection offers essential basics and classic items such as polo shirts, t-shirts and jackets which allow for Voi’s individuality to shine through. The brand has also added a unique feature to their website called ‘The Denim Wall’. This feature was inspired by the Voi Jeans Co. showroom at their head office and allows customers to enter a ‘virtual showroom’ where they can browse through the key denims of the collection. The showroom shows a unique range of images that allow the customer to experience what it is like to be a Voi Jeans Co. denim designer.
This feature is currently only available to UK customers but there are plans to expand it to enable international customers to experience it.
Fashion magazine, Drapers named Voi Jeans Co. as one of the best-selling brands in the UK in 2010. It has steadily been growing with 2012 seeing the opening of the European flagship store in Amsterdam.
The name Voi, which translates from the Italian language as ‘You’, is a constant reminder about the value of the consumer and encompasses the brands ethos. Initially wanting to create jeans for every market they took inspiration from the street, the urban style and those who aim to be different. This enables them to produce designs that capture youth and trends but also meet the needs of the wearer.
Understandably Voi Jeans has a British feel about it, however, the brands style allows for new inspiration and a unique take on the British tradition which can be enjoyed around the world.
