Boomtown Fair Preview 2012

Can’t decide what kind of festival you want to go to this Summer? Have a look at the sensational Boomtown Fair festival. Now in it’s fourth year, the fair promises to provide a mixture of folk, pop, reggae, ska, dub and country and western to cater to all tastes. If this doesn’t entice you enough, there is comedy, cabaret, spoken word, site art, and plenty of food to go around. But, what’s the lineup like? Well, pretty good if you ask me. There are appearances from the likes of Reel Big Fish, Jack Beats, Benny Page, Beanie Man, Nattie, Asian Dub Foundation, General Levy, Shy FX and Dub Pistols and many others. What’s more, the festival aims to provide new and fancy activities amongst its greenery, such as woodland village street parties, Oriental quarter, backstreet gambling dens, and courtyard raves. Not only will the party include such a mixture of music and events, but the spectacle will be truly spectacular with trapeze shows, laser extravaganzas, flame throwing and plenty of pyrotechnics. Woah...It certainly is jam packed.
