Hunger Really Can Drive A Person Insane

When I talk about hunger many of you are probably thinking about those times when you felt like you could eat a massive burger…or a bus seat! Yes that’s right I said bus seat. CCTV footage has been released showing an unidentified man eating the seat of a bus which he was sitting on. I know hunger can make people do crazy things, but seriously, that’s just disgusting. The man, who has dark hair and is of a large build, was on the bus for 20min before he started getting the munchies and decided to eat his own seat.
Police are calling for witnesses to help identify the man as he has caused £200 worth of damage. PC Gary Blee, of Torbay police, said 'The male offender was on a number 12 bus in Paignton and has chewed the seat he was sitting on, causing around £200 of damage.' Stagecoach, the bus company which owned the number 12, instructs passengers to 'Refrain from eating and drinking items which make the environment unpleasant for other customers or otherwise cause offence.' Eating the seat of the bus definitely falls under that category so if you’re the type to get hungry really quickly maybe carry around a healthy snack, maybe an apple or a cereal bar. Refrain from eating public property; we don’t need the public transport to get anymore crappier than it already is.
