Why Is The Internet So Cruel To Celebrities?
Thursday 26th July 2012 | Osh
In today’s high-tech world, it has become relatively easy for us normal folk to interact with glamorous celebs, thanks to social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Twitter, especially, allows the general public to have a direct connection with celebs as they can send a message directly to the celebrity rather than their press contact or assistant.
This is great right? We can message the people who we idolise and let them know how grateful we are for their talent. Yes, this is one way in which social networking can be used another way is that anyone can just post their opinions, as anonymous, and let the celebs know exactly what they think, good or bad!.
Remember guys, celebrities are hard-working people, sure they have millions in the bank and spend most of the year on an exotic beach but they are human just like us. How would you feel if someone told you that they wish they could kill you and exchange you for Tupac?
It’s easy to hide behind an anonymous twitter profile and say what you wish you could say to their face, but I say if you’re going to say something, say it as you! Don’t make a fake account, stand up for what you believe in and speak up for yourself! Below is a hilarious video of the reaction of those poor celebs that have to suffer the wrath of your hatred!
