DC10 Circoloco, Ibiza Review
You think you’ve seen it all, heard the best sound-system and stomped into the best clubs in the World. Then you stumble under the descending planes as other party lovers arrive into Ibiza and in through the doors of the most sought after temple of dance- DC10. Since 1999 this place has been making history, taken more than a few legal knock backs and closures- yet it still remains to this day- a club that will always go down in any visitor’s history of finest clubbing moments.
This place is underground house at it’s finest, sounding off the scale and providing the ‘night of your life’ to the dance population of Ibiza; right at the end of the runway as you arrive to the place where parties were born. Monday sees the clown in town- Circoloco- allowing there to be no Monday moans, or an end to the weekend vibes on the Island. This night has been the driving force behind the DC10 for years- allowing the weekend troopers to carry on through with no excuses needing to be made. Monday the 25th June had to be the best way to spend any Monday, anywhere in the World. This legendary clubnight saw DJs such as Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, Dubfire, and Maceo Plex play sets that still make hairs stand on end whenever I think of the tracks.
Plex’s set in the main room was the best I experienced in Ibiza. Dropping tunes which were unheard of through to more recent tunes such as 'Groove Armada-Tweak to me'. The crowd at some points just didn’t know what to do with so much energy as the sound system was by far better than anything I have ever heard before. The sun shone down on the outside terrace as the air filled with thumbing hands and glistening looks from stranger to stranger as love filled the room. The atmosphere was electric, humid and above all, it created a memory for every party-goer to keep.
