The big weekend is descending upon us and there’s so much to look forward to!
It’s where all the stars you’ve been anticipating to watch gather together for one long and full to the brim weekend. Two days and nights of live penetrating music across six stages that will be graced by some of the best vocal talent to date. Radio 1’s Hackney weekend is going to be one of the most memorable events of this summer and you do not want to miss it!
There will be live coverage over the 23rd and 24th of June so you have every opportunity to gain access to this amazing experience. The latest news on Hackney weekend is that Nicki Minaj has joined the to-die-for line-up for Saturday night. Jay Z, Rita Ora, will.i.am, Trey Songz, Tinchy Stryder, Boy Better Know, Dappy and Sean Paul are but a few to name that will be causing a massive bang over all the stages on Saturday. However, that’s not all, because Radio 1’s Hackney weekend is not going to stop delivering to you! The day of rest (Sunday) is going to become the day of non-stop partying with Rihanna, Tinie Tempah, Jessie J, Plan B, Professor Green, Sub Focus, Wretch 32, Gyptian, Azealia Banks, Devlin, Labrinth, Zane Lowe, Kersha Bailey and so, so, so many more!
It’s nowhere near a tongue twister but seriously, try to pronounce every name in the line-up without taking a breath! It’ll be rolling off your tongue in no time.
