Flop star. Winner of ‘The Voice’ Leanne Mitchell fails to make top 40.

If you thought the BBC’s new talent show ‘The Voice’ hadn’t been enough of a shambles with its poor ratings and boring live shows, then think again. Last weeks winner Leanne Mitchell’s new song Run To You has failed to even make the top forty this week.
With the vast majority (including the judges) thinking that competitors Bo Bruce or Ruth Jones were more worthy of the first place prize, Leanne had alot to prove, but it seems she has fallen short of what little expectations we had.
Meanwhile within the top 40, Adele’s phenomenon of an album 21 is outside the top 10 chart for the first time in well over a year. Inevitably Gary Barlows commonwealth song that he released ahead of the jubilee celebrations is number 1, with Flo Rida and his new song whistle coming in at a close second.
