Young Talent: DJ Future
Thursday 7th June 2012 | Osh
At the age of 15, what were you getting up to?
I was busy chasing girls around the school playground, and sitting in detention for not doing my maths homework.
But not Ben Frith, at the tender age of 15, he’s already making a name for himself in the music industry going by the name DJ Future. He came to visit us at The Guestlist Network headquarters for an exclusive interview.
With his mix being featured on MistaJam's 1500 seconds of fame BBC Radio 1xtra even MistaJam himself saluted his skills.
Playing at under 18 nights in the south DJ Future's sets are always different depending on the crowd. Expect to hear anything from deep dubstep to commercial house.
"I change my sets all the time depending on the crowd. I think you need to be able to do that as a DJ"
But he doesn't stop there. He was also chosen to attend the Kiss FM DJ academy and the Dub Police Records workshop where he picked up some unique mixing skills.
