Fans of films, videogames, comics, sci-fi and anime will want to make a date in their diaries for the MCM London Comic Con, Britain’s biggest pop culture festival. Taking place at ExCel on 25-27 May, the three day event attracts over 60,000 visitors and plays host to major movie studios; leading videogames publishers; top comic creators and an awesome array of special guests.
The UK’s answer to San Diego Comic Con, the MCM London Comic Con is the perfect place to unleash your inner geek, giving show goers the chance to preview the hottest new videogames on Gamespot UK’s dedicated games stage; meet the stars of upcoming movies and much-loved sci-fi shows, and explore the country’s largest gathering of comic artists and writers… not to mention the hundreds of great merchandise stands.
Special guests attending this month's MCM London Comic Con include Hollywood legend Danny DeVito; Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles creator Kevin Eastman; Grimm's David Giuntoli; Star Wars' Anthony Daniels; Falling Skies' Seychelle Gabriel and Sarah Carter; Once Upon a Time's Raphael Sbarge and cult horror favourite Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. Meanwhile, leading games publishers at the show include Nintendo, Capcom, Sega, Square Enix, Ubisoft, Namco Bandai, Konami, Jagex, Tecmo Koei, Rising Star and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
