Lana Del Ray’s Record Label Didn’t Like Video Games

Justin Parker, co-writer of the hit said that when it was first played no one liked it. He received writing credits for five tracks on her debut album ‘Born To Die’.
He said they didn’t think it was a single, however he and Lana thought it was brilliant.
The video has been viewed more than 38 million times on youtube, and managed to convince them.
‘Video Games’ is up for Best contemporary song at the Ivor Novello Awards.
