Vans x Kenzo

Kenzo- the old high fashion brand based in Paris, and Vans- which create the most famous skateboard shoes, seem poles apart.
Kenzo is now being lead by two youthful and creative people, Humberto Leon and Carol Lim. Both are known for having created Opening Ceremony. This name covers a lot of things, as it’s a brand itself, as well as a retailer of an impressive number of clothing brands, supplying everyday labels, as well as higher-end ones (Rodarte for instance). They have, however, found the secret to always keeping cool.
So this collaboration is born: Vans for his legendary Era model and Kenzo, for his colorful prints and ideas. Very cute and fresh sneakers for the upcoming summer 2012!
