Drakes takes drugs but ‘within moderation.’
He said he sometimes indulges in illegal substances and enjoys drinking alcohol but he never takes it too far.
The musician said he’s not a reckless guy but he admits he does take drugs occasionally. “Have I sipped codeine before? Yeah of course. Have I smoked weed? Yes. Do I drink wine? Yes. He’s hardly Pete Doherty though!
The 25 year old Canadian rapper said he knows he can’t please everyone.
He said when he looks on twitter at some of the negative responses ‘I can’t lie to you I read what they have to say and it’s... character building.’ That’s a very diplomatic response! He said that he used to find the digs hurtful but now ignores them. He has plenty of fans to build his confidence.
“You just have to come to the conclusion that it’s OK, there are going to be people who like you and people who don’t. Luckily there are millions of people who love me and a few who don’t.” Well said Drake!
And he’s got a point. Everything else is fine in moderation, so why not drugs? They could add a bit of weed to one of your five a day!
