Neyo: I Don’t Like Wacky Baby Names

The singer is a father of two with partner Monyetta Shaw and their children are Madilyn Grace and Mason, five months.
He told People magazine that he was very careful when it comes to picking his children’s names because he didn’t want to do the typical celebrity thing of calling his baby something wacky.
He said about his son, "We needed him to have a name that felt like a gentleman, like somebody you have to respect." (Clearly Gwyneth had the same idea when she called her lucky little boy Moses).
"Mason Evan Smith, you have to respect that name. It’s a very strong, very stout name." He said he doesn’t want to predestine his children’s futures. (Oh, but if they are as talented as their father it would just be such a waste for them not to follow in his footsteps).
"I’m just going to do my best so that my daughter doesn’t end up on a pole and my son doesn’t end up on the corner. And whatever they do outside of that is pretty much their decision." Maybe some of the people from Pushy Parents should take note!
Neyo said juggling fatherhood with his busy schedule isn’t easy but if anyone can do it he can!
