Joe Hot Chip and Raf Daddy are joined by Chicago legend of boompty boomp house, Derrick Carter in the first of a series of Bugged Out parties.
The bears are riding high on the back of their brilliant, critically acclaimed debut album Be strong, mixing up 2 step, house, hip hop and soul influences. Bear Hug and Work are included in their club hits.
Derrick Carter first played for Bugged Out in 1995, one of house music’s lynch- pins his record label Classic owned the last decade.
As a DJ he is unparalleled, unbeatable and the top of his game. He was of course the Bear’s first choice to join them for part one in this occasional series.
