Mavado Case Delayed

Mavado, real name David Brooks, will have to wait at least another six weeks before facing the courts. The trial will now take place on 23rd April. Facing charges of malicious destruction of property and assault from an incident that took place last July in st. James’, allegations are against Mavado stating that he used the wheel of his black Range Rover to squeeze a man, who was already involved in an aggressive altercation, between cars. This caused swelling to the man’s foot and a cut to his shoulder. Damage to the car was is also estimated to be around $25,000.
